![]() Also you dont ahve any great choices on MaA anyway in terms of skills. Second round Jester will probably still be faster than MaA, dirks himself on position 3 and the MaA is in the back doing his buffing and protection while the jester is now able to either stress heal or use one of his two bleed skills, you dont need the jester buff then because the MaA has a ACC buff himself and the -SPD from bellow is the same as buffing SPD from the jester. If you can set up the speed properly you can do Jester is usually the fastest, opens with solo which puts MaA at 3, he can debuff with bellow in first round. This tanky setup is nice against enemies that hit extremely hard, like the Prophet, blighted giant, etc by allowing you to mitigate a huge amount of the damage outright, and more easily recovering what little damage MaA will be taking. The +50% healing dovetails very well with an Occultist's heal, which is normally pretty swingy but the bonus keeps your average healing up to reasonable levels. The damage malus doesn't matter because you're going to be blocking and buffing all the time. THE GOOD: You are VERY tanky, and since you are probably not attacking much anyway a Tough Ring is a good choice to make yourself even more tanky now you can rock +20% PROT, +15% HP, +5% dodge. Because of the positioning, neither the Arbalest nor the Crusader can target the MaA to take advantage of the huge heal bonus he'll get. Its kind of a bummer you are limited to 3 out of 4 skills with this setup (honestly I wouldn't consider it terribly OP to let the MaA bellow from the very back). THE BAD: The main bad thing about this setup is that you are in the very back, preventing Mace Bash, Rampart Shield, Bellow, and Retribution from being used. It is a very interesting way to play the Man-at-Arms. ![]() This radicaly transforms your Man at Arms from a frontline tank/attacker to a backline tank/support. ![]() The only catch is that it only works if he is in the very back. It grants +10% PROT, +50% Heal received(!) and +5 dodge. The Guardian's Shield is a very interesting Legendary Trinket for the Man-at-Arms. ![]()
